Who’s News May 2008
The MSR Home Page accumulated 935 hits during May, up 255 from last
month. Total visits are 44,410 since April 1996. The new itinerary is up on the
web. I have changed the “2008 Rides” format making it less squashy, removing
the second column, now that we are putting a lot more information about each
ride up on the web. Any feedback
appreciated.
The Committee is
investigating making business cards to hand out to prospective members. The
cards won’t say much other than ‘Ride Every Sunday” – our key differentiator
from other clubs, and the web page address. In the background will be a ghosted
Ducati 1098 and rider. We are debating what percentage ghosting will be
displayed. In the same vein, we will make similar size fridge magnets.

22 people (21 members). An excellent turnout on a cold night. No issues in gathering
a quorum. The Committee was re-elected
unopposed, with some minor shuffling.

Don’t forget top renew your Club subscription by the end of the month. The Club relies on it’s membership fees to cover the cost of printing the magazine, purchasing of stamps and envelopes, paying domain name registration fees, incorporation fees, etc. Last year we made $40 and the fees haven’t risen. Not sure how long that is sustainable, so jump on the web page, go down to the bottom left and clink on bank details and pay your $40 as a direct debit. When the receipt comes forward it to the Treasurer and email the Secretary who will ensure you remain on the mailing list.
