MSR Itinerary June 2008
Sunday 8th Coal Creek Historical Site, Korumburra Ben Warden leading
10 am Berwick
Marty is unable to lead this ride due to a recent back injury. But we’ll visit the famous coal diggings, learn a bit about our Victorian history and the money you spend not riding will easily cover the entrance fee. The plan is to spend morning tea at Loch (if you are chasing the ride), then head over to lunch at Coal Creek, then head home via more good roads. No exploring today, only a selection of the best roads in west Gippsland. Expect around 250 km for the day.

route is fairly self evident. Expect Noojee for morning tea and fuel, though no
Premium. On through Hill End and left directly to Thompson’s Dam. Back to
Rawson for lunch, or maybe press on to Tyers and Moe for a late lunch and fuel.
